The Hills

Northeast of downtown Summerlin, and tucked away in one of its many quaint neighborhoods, The HIlls is a haven of well-established single-family homes and mature greenery. Being one of the original developments in this burgeoning area north of the Strip, you’ll find a variety of old-growth trees and shrubs lining its wide streets and sidewalks. A 7-acre park right in the middle of this village adds to its idyllic setting, featuring everything from tennis and volleyball courts, baseball fields, playgrounds, several picnic areas, to a large pavillion for hosting outdoor barbecues and parties with friends and family. With the Summerlin Library, a performing arts theater, and many small shops, cafés, and restaurants just a mile down the road, The Hills is a beautiful place to settle in and create roots, especially if you’re starting or already have a family. If you’re a golf enthusiast, you will be delighted to know that there is not one but three golf courses nearby, with TPC Summerlin continually being ranked by Golf Digest as “One of America’s Best Golf Courses.” It’s also the place where Tiger Woods achieved his first professional Masters win in 1997. If you’re not really a golfer, you may appreciate knowing about their dedication to protecting natural habitats. As such, TPC Summerlin was the first golf courses in Nevada to be certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International. Much of the Summerlin course winds its way through preserved desert washes, arroyos and canyons. Nearby is the majestic Red Rock Canyon National Consevation Area, which you can catch a glimpse of across much of the course as well as from many vantage points in The Hills development. Living here is not only beautiful, but offers the lifestyle and comfort one would expect from this exclusive community.
